I believe the purpose of this research paper was just to gain knowledge about the topic we picked and also to learn how to properly write and format a research paper without trying to make it into a biography.
My intended audience was mainly focused on the music industry and other producers.
As I wrote this piece I was asking myself what was the difference in the evidence between it being only about Michael Jackson and his biography and it actually being researchable evidence to prove the points I was trying to prove. Another question I also wondered about was why was Michael Jackson such a big impact in the music industry?
I learned a lot more truth about the history of michael jackson and how he became the way he was and why he enjoyed being that way. Some strengths I learned within this piece was how other artists fed off of his energy and his work was just so inspiring.
One weakness I had that kept recurring was not giving too much background on his life even though this piece was dedicated to him and the history he has made. I don’t have any unanswered questions left after completing this research paper. As far as understanding the voice in writing, I’m still a little lost on how it all should come together as a research paper. I think next time I won’t choose a person to research to avoid some of these issues I had this time around.
